How to Add Someone to Your Facebook Page Through Meta Business Manager

If you’re working with a marketer, agency, or consultant who needs access to your Facebook Page, you’ll add them through Meta Business Manager. This ensures they have the right permissions to manage posts, messages, advertising, and other tools on your behalf.

Follow the steps below to add a new person securely and correctly.

Step 1: Sign In to Meta Business Manager

Go to:
https://business.facebook.com

Log in using the Facebook account that owns your Business Manager.

Step 2: Open Your Business Settings

Once inside Business Manager, select:
Settings → Business Settings
(You’ll find this in the left navigation panel.)

This is where you manage users, pages, ad accounts, and permissions.

Step 3: Add a New Person

In the sidebar, select:
Users → People

Click the blue Add button.

Enter the email address of the person you want to add.
Choose Employee Access unless you want this person to manage your whole Business Manager.

Click Next.

Step 4: Assign Your Facebook Page

This screen determines what the person can access.

Under Accounts, choose Pages.
Select your Page from the list.

Turn on the permissions you want to grant — for example:
– Publish content
– Create and manage posts
– View Page performance
– Respond to messages and comments
– Full control (optional if you trust them with admin-level access)

Click Save to confirm.

Step 5: Assign Additional Assets (If Needed)

If the person will run ads or manage your marketing tools, also assign:
Ad Accounts
Pixels
Catalogs

This is optional if they’re only posting content.

Step 6: Send the Invitation

Click Invite to finish.

The person you added will receive an email and an in-app notification.
They must accept the invitation before they can work on your Page.

Troubleshooting

If the person says they don’t see your Page:
– It usually means they were added at the Page level only.
– The Page must be assigned through Business Manager, not Page Roles.
– Re-follow the steps above to assign it properly.

You’re Done

Once the person accepts the invitation, they’ll have the access they need to support your Facebook marketing, post updates, or manage advertising on your behalf.
