Overview

Talloo Digital helps local businesses grow through smart, community-driven marketing. We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Specialist to plan, create, and publish content that builds awareness and drives engagement for our clients. This role blends creativity with process—balancing storytelling, brand voice, and measurable results.

The position can be part-time or full-time and is fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media accounts for Talloo and client brands across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile.

  • Create, schedule, and publish posts using approved content calendars and automation tools.

  • Write and edit engaging copy that aligns with each client’s brand voice and marketing goals.

  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and report on performance metrics weekly.

  • Collaborate with SEO and design teams to ensure visual and written content supports broader marketing objectives.

  • Stay current with social media trends, AI-assisted tools, and algorithm changes to improve performance.

  • Assist with the creation of simple video clips, image assets, or reels using Canva or similar tools.

  • Participate in campaign planning meetings and contribute creative ideas for growth and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing social media for a business or agency — preferred, but not required.

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

  • Understanding of analytics, engagement metrics, and post scheduling tools.

  • Working knowledge of apps like CapCut.

  • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing principles is a plus.

  • Reliable communication and time-management skills—especially in remote work environments.

  • Growth in engagement and follower activity.

  • Improved click-through and conversion performance tied to campaigns.

  • Clear, timely reporting and communication with the team.
