How to Add a Manager to Your Apple Business Connect Account
Local visibility matters — especially when neighbors are searching right here in town. Apple Business Connect is a key part of showing up on Apple Maps and Siri, and giving the right people access keeps your business profile accurate and active. If you’re bringing someone in to help manage updates, listings, or reviews, here’s how to add them as a manager.
What You Need Before You Start
Make sure you have:
An Apple ID with Owner-level access to your business location
The email address of the person you're inviting
Two-factor authentication turned on for your Apple ID
Owners control who manages the profile, so this process must be done from the primary account.
Step-by-Step: Add a Manager to Apple Business Connect
Sign In
Go to businessconnect.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID tied to your business listing.Choose Your Location
If you manage more than one location, select the correct business before moving forward.Open Settings
Look for Settings in the left menu, then select Users & Roles.Add a New User
Click Add User and enter your team member’s name and email address. They’ll need an Apple ID using that same email.Assign Access
Choose the appropriate permission level. For most team members helping with ongoing profile updates and reviews, Manager access is right where it should be.Send the Invitation
Send the invite. Your team member will receive an email and must accept before they can make updates.
Tips for Smooth Management
Use business email addresses for access, not personal ones
Give only the access level required for the work
Review and update access anytime teams change
Audit users every quarter to keep things secure
This helps maintain control and consistency across your digital footprint — and ensures nobody unexpected still has access.
Troubleshooting
If the invite doesn’t show up:
Check junk and spam folders
Confirm the email matches an Apple ID
Try resending from the Users & Roles screen
If access seems limited after acceptance, adjust their permission level to Administrator instead of Manager.
Why It Matters
Apple Maps is a high-intent channel. When neighbors search for services on their iPhone or ask Siri for a recommendation, your business information needs to be complete, consistent, and current. Giving someone else the keys to help manage your listing keeps your presence strong — and keeps customers finding you right where they live, work, and explore.
